What do we know about The Umbrella Academy Season 4?
Based on Dark Horse’s comic series of the same name by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá, The Umbrella Academy premiered on Netflix in February 2019.
The cast of The Umbrella Academy Season 4, per Netflix Tudum, includes Elliot Page as Viktor Hargreeves, Tom Hooper as Luther Hargreeves, David Castañeda as Diego Hargreeves, Emmy Raver-Lampman as Allison Hargreeves, Robert Sheehan as Klaus Hargreeves, Aidan Gallagher as Five Hargreeves, Justin H. Min as Ben Hargreeves, Ritu Arya as Lila Pitts, and Colm Feore as Sir Reginald Hargreeves.
Additionally, Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally, and David Cross have joined the cast of the final season in undisclosed roles.
The final season of The Umbrella Academy began filming in February 2023. Production concluded in May 2023 prior to the start of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strike.
Plot details for The Umbrella Academy Season 4 remain under wraps at this time; however, it will seemingly play off the twist ending featured at the end of the third season, which saw the Hargreeves siblings find themselves in an alternate timeline where they no longer have superpowers.
Steve Blackman is returning as showrunner and executive producer for The Umbrella Academy Season 4. Other executive producers, per Deadline, include Jennifer Cecil, Mike Richardson, Keith Goldberg, Scott Stuber, Beau Bauman, Pascal Verschooris, Jesse McKeown, Abbey Morris, and Jeremy Webb, while Way and Bá serve as co-executive producers.
The Umbrella Academy Season 4 premieres on Netflix on August 8, 2024. The first three seasons of The Umbrella Academy are currently available to stream.
