The Boys’ Eric Kripke says the upcoming fourth season of the Prime Video series is finished and ready for its June 2024 premiere.
On X, Kripke, who serves as the showrunner for Prime Video’s The Boys, shared an update about the fourth season of the fan-favorite superhero series.
“As of today, #TheBoys #Season4 is completely, totally, absolutely DONE,” Kripke wrote. “I’m really grateful & so proud of this cast & crew. Could be our best yet. Can’t wait to unleash it onto the world.”
What do we know about The Boys Season 4?
“In Season Four, the world is on the brink,” the official description reads. “Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son and his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.”
The Boys stars Jack Quaid as Hughie Campbell, Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Antony Starr as Homelander, Erin Moriarty as Annie January/Starlight, Jessie T. Usher as Reggie Franklin/A-Train, Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko Miyashiro, Laz Alonso as Mother’s Milk, Chace Crawford as the Deep, Claudia Doumit as Victoria Neuman, and Cameron Crovetti as Ryan.
The fourth season is also adding Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan to the cast.
The first three episodes of The Boys Season 4 will be released on Prime Video on June 13, 2024. New episodes will continue to drop weekly and, with there being eight episodes in total, the season finale will air on July 18, 2024.
The first three seasons of The Boys, meanwhile — along with spin-off series The Boys Presents: Diabolical and Gen V — are currently streaming on Prime Video.
