The Art of Masters of the Universe: Revolution Sets Release Date

Exclusive: Dark Horse Books is treating He-Man fans with The Art of Masters of the Universe: Revolution. The oversized hardcover art book was produced in collaboration with Mattel and Powerhouse Studios and offers a behind-the-scenes look at how the hit Netflix show’s second season was made.

“The Art of Masters of the Universe: Revolution takes fans through the series’ development, featuring exclusive concept art, finished renders, and commentary from the animators and creators of the show. With this unique access to detailed images of the beloved world and characters of Masters of the Universe, fans can delve that much deeper into the heart of the epic battle for Eternia,” says the official description.

What is The Art of Masters of the Universe: Revolution release date and price?

The Art of Masters of the Universe: Revolution will be released on December 3, 2024, in bookstores and a day later in comic shops, so it will be available just in time for Christmas. The 9×12″ book will be 192 pages and will be sold for $49.99. It is now available to preorder at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, TFAW, your local comic shop and bookstore.

What is Masters of the Universe: Revolution about?

“It’s technology versus magic when He-Man and the heroic warriors face the forces of Skeletor and something more in Masters of the Universe: Revolution – the new epic chapter in the battle for Castle Grayskull!” reads the show’s synopsis. “The newly mechanized Skeletor, armed with the might of Motherboard, attacks the heart of Eternia while Prince Adam grapples with a new responsibility and what that means for him as He-Man! Adam is forced to choose between the scepter or the sword, and a life as either the King or the Champion! Meanwhile, the new Sorceress Teela searches for the secret of Snake Magic in the mists of Darksmoke to rebuild a magic realm and help He-Man hold off the greatest threat Eternia has ever faced: the return of the despot Hordak, the ruthless leader of the Horde Empire!”

Based on Mattel’s popular toy line of the same name, Masters of the Universe: Revolution will feature the voices of Diedrich Bader, Melissa Benoist, Liam Cunningham, Keith David, Mark Hamill, Lena Headey, Griffin Newman, William Shatner, Tiffany Smith, Tony Todd, Chris Wood, and John De Lancie. The latter voices the character of Granamyr.

The series is executive produced by Smith, Ted Biaselli, Rob David, Christopher Keenan, and Frederic Soulie. It is a produced by Mattel Television Studios, with Powerhouse Animation Studios handling its animation.
