Square Enix's Marvel's Avengers Game To Get Full Reveal Next Month

Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avengers Game To Get Full Reveal Next Month

It’s been over two years since Square Enix confirmed it teamed up with Marvel to produce a game based on The Avengers. Since then, not much information about these projects has made the rounds. But that will all change soon, as the company has a big reveal set up for next month.

In a new tweet posted on the Marvel’s Avengers Game Twitter account, the publisher confirmed that a big E3 2019 reveal is on the way. The event will take place on June 10 at 6 PM PDT with a live stream, complete with closed captioning. You can see the official tweet below, along with a look at its new Avengers logo.

To say this may become one of the biggest things out of this year’s Electronics Entertainment Expo is an understatement. Fans have been waiting for Square Enix to talk about its Avengers games at great length. And based on the logo, it’s a huge project, with both Eidos Montreal and Tomb Raider developers Crystal Dynamics on board.

Marvel has made a huge impact in video games as of late, following last year’s release of Spider-Man on PlayStation 4. That release has gone on to sell millions of copies, and landed on several Game of the Year lists. Insomniac Games went all out on that game’s development – and Square Enix wants to keep that success going.

The presentation is sure to feature members of the development teams. But don’t be surprised if we see some Marvel collaborators as well.

The responses from the fan community have been exciting, to say the least.

Be sure to check back for all the details following the presentation on the 10th. Platforms for Marvel’s Avengers haven’t been confirmed just yet, but Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are very possible. More information about the stream can be found on the official game page.
