Familiar Faces Resurface in Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge Trailer

In just a few days, the Star Wars franchise will debut its brand new action-adventure VR experience in Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge. Lucasfilm has debuted the official trailer for the game and introduced the protagonist, a droid technician operating who has to run from some Guavian Death Gang pirates. After landing on Batuu, the players will meet Bobby Moynihan’s Seezelslak in his cantina from where they will get some quests. In addition to exploring the planet, the players will also have to deal with dangerous creatures. And yes, they will meet some familiar faces from the franchise, like Anthony Daniels’s C-3PO and Master Yoda.

The official description of Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge reads:

“Fight alongside classic characters, and face intimidating villains as you explore all-new regions and eras of the Star Wars galaxy. With multiple difficulty settings, Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge has been crafted for all types of players and fans.

The experience takes place on the outskirts of Black Spire Outpost of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the epic land at Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. You’ll play as a droid technician operating near Batuu, but when a group of Guavian Death Gang pirates attack you’ll be forced to jettison the ship’s mysterious cargo and head for an escape pod. After crashing on Batuu, you’ll explore the outskirts of Black Spire Outpost, and learn how the actions of one person can change the galaxy.”

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge will debut on November 19 exclusively on Oculus Quest.
