Disney+ subscribers have to wait until later this year before The Mandalorian returns for a new season. However, it sounds like Gina Carano will be savoring her break from the series. Carano recently shared on Twitter that things got so intense during filming that she actually lost consciousness multiple times.
The incident happened while working on a scene for the season’s eighth episode, “The Reckoning.” While en route to the planet Nevarro, Carano’s Cara Dune and Mando decided to pass the time with an impromptu arm-wrestling match. Baby Yoda, thinking his new surrogate father was under attack, responded by force choking Cara. Apparently, Carano was so committed to making her character’s suffering look real that she passed out twice.
You can check out Carano’s account of the mishap below.

Fortunately, it doesn’t sound like Carano has any hard feelings toward the 50-year-old infant. In fact, she teased that audiences will finally learn his real name (and perhaps that of his species) this fall.
It’s ok. I know your real name.

In the first season finale, Cara stayed behind on Nevarro to work as Greef Karga’s enforcer. Although she insisted that she doesn’t “do the baby thing,” it’s a safe bet that the ex-shock trooper and the force-sensitive youngster will share the screen again in season 2.
