Later this year, the Justice Society of America will finally headline their own animated film in Justice Society: World War II. However, they won’t be alone. Barry Allen, the Flash of the present, will be going back in time and fighting alongside them. Now, Warner Bros. Animation has released the box art for the film, as well as additional details.
Jeff Wamester (Guardians of the Galaxy TV series) directed the movie from a script by Meghan Fitzmartin and Jeremy Adams. Matt Bomer and Stana Katic headline the cast as Barry Allen and Wonder Woman, respectively. Armen Taylor also stars as the original Flash, Jay Garrick; with Chris Diamantopoulos as Steve Trevor; Elysia Rotaru as Black Canary; Matthew Mercer as Hourman; Omid Abtahi as Hawkman; and Keith Ferguson as Dr. Fate.
Additionally, Liam McIntyre will voice Aquaman, and Ashleigh LaThrop will play as Iris West, presumably in the present day scenes.

Additionally, the two-part episode, “Legends” from Justice League will be included as well. Finally, there will be a feature devoted to the next DC animated film: Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One.
Justice Society: World War II will be released digitally on April 27. The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack and Blu-ray release will follow on May 11.
