Imax expects to roll out “Catwoman”, which stars Halle Berry, in July, following its June release of “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.”
It also hopes to reformat “Polar Express,” an animated film about a boy who takes a train ride to the North Pole, in time for the 2004 holiday season, although it’s still in discussions with Warner.
“The outlook for 2004 look reasonable. ‘Catwoman’ could play pretty well. Now the next question is, will consumers pay the premium?” said McAlpine.
