Exclusive Preview: Mr. and Mrs. X #11 Sends Gambit Back To New Orleans

After a disastrous honeymoon in space and a strangely fortunate stint in the Mojoverse, Rogue and Gambit are back home. However, they may soon regret leaving the Mojoverse behind! In their absence, the X-Men were seemingly killed and things have gotten much harder for mutants everywhere. Mutants are once again an endangered species.

While Rogue answered a call for help that seemingly came from Captain Marvel, Gambit put the focus on something closer to him. In Mr. and Mrs. X #6, Gambit and Rogue were warned that there was unrest in the Thieves Guild. Now it’s time for Gambit to face those problems head on, even if Rogue isn’t by his side. But somehow, we suspect she’ll be joining him soon enough.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Mr. and Mrs. x #11, Kelly Thompson and artist Oscar Bazaldua bring Gambit back to his hometown. Gambit really hasn’t been living up to his obligations as the King of the Thieves Guild. It doesn’t help that even Gambit’s loyalists think that he’s dead. He’s got bigger problems that can’t simply be solved by a splashy entrance. But we could never deny that he’s got style!

Here’s the official description from Marvel: “All Hail the King and Queen of Thieves! The Thieves Guild has come to take what is theirs – where does that leave Rogue and Gambit?”
