Amazon Prime Day promises an inhuman assortment of deals on everything a comics fan could want. The actual books are no exception. The Walking Dead Compendium 15th Anniversary Box Set
What can honestly be written about The Walking Dead that hasn’t already been said? The book has kept Image Comics among the top independent publishers for sixteen years, spawning a multimedia empire in the process. The series’ recent surprise finale once again showed its power to shake the industry, and now fans can bring the entire series home in one fell swoop. The book’s fourth compendium is available for pre-order at $38.83 (a 35% discount). But the first three can be bought together in the 15th Anniversary Box Set for $117.30; which is 41% off list.
The Doom Patrol Omnibus
Doom Patrol was one of Vertigo Comics’ more celebrated series long before its superb live-action adaptation on DC Universe. Much of that success is due to one writer in particular: Grant Morrison. Y: The Last Man Omnibus
Few comics can rival Y: The Last Man in terms of inventiveness and world-building. The book made Brian K. Vaughn an industry giant and continues to impress long after its final issue. This beautiful hardcover collects the entire 60-issue run and fans can pre-order their own copy for $105, which is nearly a third off the list price.
Spider-Man/Deadpool Vol. 0: Don’t Call It A Team-Up

The Merc with the Mouth’s antics aren’t always appreciated, but that hasn’t kept the partnership form flourishing. Nearly every trade paperback of the series is on sale, but fans can jump on from the beginning for $16.95. That’s more than 50% off.
Paper Girls Deluxe Edition
There isn’t a story that Brian K. Vaughn can’t tell. Vaughn and Cliff Chiang’s Paper Girls is the most recent piece of evidence to support that claim. The tale of a band of unwitting time-traveling paper delivery girls from the ’80s is on its way to Amazon Prime as a live-action show. But fans can jump into the story during Prime Day at a heavy discount. The first deluxe edition is available for $23.95. And if you like that, you can pick up volume two for $22.48. Between the two hardcovers, fans can catch the first 20 issues at one-third off list price.
Batman: The Court of Owls Saga
No comic book list of any kind would be complete without the Dark Knight. And perhaps his most celebrated storyline of the past decade is a proper way to include Mr. Wayne in the Prime Day fun. This definitive collection is available for $12.41; which is a steal at 50% off.
Captain America Vol. 1: Winter Soldier Ultimate Collection

This hardcover delivers the entire story along with classic issues vital to Jean Grey’s backstory at a sizable $62. That’s a 38% discount.
The Sandman Omnibus Vol. 1

All three volumes are available at $81.95; which is 45% off. You can catch volume 2 here, and then finish up with volume 3.
Saga
Many of Image Comics’ most popular franchises have connections to Robert Kirkman, but Saga isn’t one of them. Brian K. Vaughn’s intergalactic follow-up to Y: The Last Man continues his award-winning storytelling. This series explores a universe that blends fantasy in science fiction to perfection. Fans can catch up on the book’s first 54 issues in three beautifully illustrated hardcovers, each at nearly 40% off. The first volume is available for $31.10. Volume 2 is going for $30.85; while Volume 3 has a $31.44 price tag.
Invincible Compendium Volume 1
Speaking of Kirkman, the man known for The Walking Dead might actually be more celebrated in the comics sphere for creating the greatest superhero comic in the universe: Invincible. The bloody, beloved book ended its story one year ago but it hasn’t left the hearts of fans. Mark Grayson’s coming-of-age tale is collected in full across three paperback compendium collections. The first one is available for $39.97; which is 38% off list. Volume 2 and Volume 3 are both $41.58.
