A few days ago, DC Comics arranged for Kevin Conroy to take part in a special live reading of Batman: The Adventures Continue Chapter #1. But for any fans who happened to miss it, The World’s Finest has posted the full video.
Batman: The Adventures Continue is a digital first comic that is the direct continuation of the classic animated series. Paul Dini and Alan Burnett are co-writing the series, while Ty Templeton handles the art, with colors by Monica Kubina, and letters by Joshua Reed. Dini and Burnett were both producers and writers for Batman: The Animated Series, while Templeton previously illustrated the tie-in comic, Batman Adventures.
Conroy was the voice of Bruce Wayne/Batman throughout the series’ run, and he revisited his role for Batman Beyond, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, the Batman: Arkham video game series, and several direct-to-Blu-ray animated films.

The best way to experience this is by reading the comic alongside Conroy. You can get the first chapter here.
In the video, Conroy also shares his take on Alfred, Bane, Lex Luthor, and even Veronica Vreeland. However, the debut of another character may also be of interest. Additionally, there’s a hint that one of Batman’s most powerful friends won’t be around to help him this time. By the end of the chapter, the Dark Knight definitely appears to be out of his depth.
