Last month, DC Comics revealed that the crossover event, Dark Nights: Death Metal, will be accompanied by a soundtrack and animated shorts. Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Black (a.k.a. Andy Biersack) and singer-songwriter Chelsea Wolfe were already cast as Batman and Wonder Woman. Additionally, Who Framed Roger Rabbit star Charles Fleischer was announced as the voice of the Joker and The Batman Who Laughs. Now, a new Man of Steel has emerged.
Via CBR, DC has unveiled the rest of the voice cast for the Death Metal shorts. The most notable name among them is David Hasselhoff, the star of Knight Rider and Baywatch. The Hoff will be lending his voice to Superman, as re-envisioned through the Dark Multiverse. Hasselhoff previously played Nick Fury in a TV movie on Fox, and also had a cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

The Punisher co-star Jason R. Moore co-stars in the shorts as The Darkest Knight, another evil incarnation of Batman. Cinderella drummer Fred Coury will voice The Flash. The creative team of Death Metal are also lending their voices to the project. Writer Scott Snyder will portray the Robin King, while artist Greg Capullo will play Sgt. Rock.
DC will release the shorts through DCDeathMetal.world and on the DC Youtube channel. The Dark Nights: Death Metal soundtrack will follow in early 2021.
