Exclusive Preview – Savage Avengers #2

You may have heard that Conan the Barbarian’s time in the Marvel Universe is winding down. At the end of this year, Marvel is losing the rights to publish Conan’s comic book adventures. However, there’s still at least one more Conan epic to be told within the pages of Savage Avengers! The first volume of this series featured Conan’s adventures in the present, and the odd allies he picked up in his war against the sorcerer Kulan Gath. Conan was also starting to appreciate modern life when he was attacked by a Deathlok from the future.

This Deathlok claims that Conan has committed crimes against the time stream…and the sentence is death! Fortunately, Conan has a few allies who came when he needed help. Cloak and Dagger, Daredevil (Elektra), Weapon H, Black Knight, and Anti-Venom turned the tide of battle. Regardless, Deathlok was able to send all of the heroes back to Conan’s native era: The Hyborian Age.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Savage Avengers #2, writer David Pepose and artist Carlos Magno show us that the Hyborian Age is extremely dangerous even for this odd band of heroes. But if Conan and his new friends survive their current ordeal, they will still have to face a murderous Deathlok. And they have no way to get back to their own time.

Here’s the official description from Marvel.
