DC has revealed a sneak peek at its upcoming event “The Gotham War,” which promises to fracture the Bat-Family.
“The Gotham War” kicks off later this month and will run across multiple DC titles through October. At this time, the Burbank-based publisher has revealed legendary artist Joe Quesada‘s connecting covers for Batman #137 and Catwoman #57, both due to hit comic shops in September.
DC has also revealed a number of interior panels from Batman/Catwoman: The Gotham War – Battle Lines #1, Batman #137, and Catwoman #57. Battle Lines comes from writers Chip Zdarsky and Tini Howard and artists Mike Hawthorne and Adriano Di Benedetto. Meanwhile, Batman #137 is written by Zdarsky and illustrated by Jorge Jimenez, while Catwoman #57 is written by Howard and illustrated by Nico Leon.

The event concludes in October with Batman #138, Catwoman #58, Batman/Catwoman: The Gotham War: Red Hood #2, and Batman/Catwoman: The Gotham War: Scorched Earth #1.
