Diamond Comic Distributors has revealed the full official lineup of Gold Sponsor titles for Free Comic Book Day 2024.
The next Free Comic Book Day takes place on May 4, 2024. At this time, Diamond has unveiled all 12 of next year’s Gold Sponsor titles. On the superhero side of things Marvel has two free books coming out: Ultimate Universe/Spider-Man #1 and Blood Hunt/X-Men #1. These comics promise to set the stage for some of the House of Ideas’ upcoming story arcs. Meanwhile, the Distinguished Competition is putting out a single DC FCBD Special Edition, though details are being kept under wraps at the moment.
Dark Horse is going two-for-one with a dual Hellboy/Stranger Things one-shot, while IDW has a free Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles book in store. Elsewhere, Image and Skybound are teaming up for Transformers & G.I. Joe: Welcome to the Energon Universe, giving readers a fresh glimpse into their new shared universe featuring the fan-favorite properties.
Additional FCBD 2024 offerings include Unicorn Crush from Andrews McMeel Publishing, The Worlds of James Tynion IV from BOOM! Studios, Johnny Quest from Dynamite Entertainment, Disney’s Encanto & Turning Red: The New Adventures from Papercutz, Witches of Brooklyn from Random House Graphix, and Pokémon Adventures: Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire/ Splatoon 3 from Viz Media.

What to expect from FCBD 2024

In addition to the 12 Gold Sponsor titles, FCBD 2024 will offer 36 Silver Sponsor titles — for a grand total of 48 free comic books. Diamond will reveal the full lineup of Silver Sponsor books this Thursday, November 16.
