In 2022, Dark Horse Comics gave the producers of M.O.D.O.K. a chance to create their own superhero universe. The result was Minor Threats, a dark comedy about the lives of C-list supervillains. Now, Jordan Blum and Patton Oswalt are back, with a sequel that promises to be equally twisted and hilarious.
The new book, Minor Threats: The Fastest Way Down, will reunite Oswalt and Blum with the rest of the original series’ creative team. Artist Scott Hepburn will be joined by color artist Ian Herring. The letters will once again be provided by Eisner-nominated letterer Nate Piekos.
The story will pick up where the original Minor Threats ended, with Frankie “Playtime” Follis ruling a newly united underworld. It’s a good time for the crooks of Twilight City, with the city’s greatest hero and worst villain both dead. Yet uneasy lies the head that wears the crown, as Playtime faces pressure from the rival gangs, from her followers, and from within herself.
