An official synopsis for X-Men Unlimited #121 reads as follows: “‘Fall of X’ tie-in! The start of a new arc sees Thunderbird: John Proudstar and Warpath: James Proudstar return home to Camp Gozhoo. But when Orchis comes knocking, the Proudstar brothers must knock some heads together!”
The X-Men’s final battle against Orchis has begun
The 2023 Hellfire Gala saw the beginning of the “Fall of X” event. Following Orchis’ deadly attack, the Marvel Universe’s surviving mutants were branded fugitives and forced into hiding. However, the X-Men and company aren’t going down without a fight.
“Fall of X” culminates in the newly-launched Fall of the House of X and Rise of the Powers of X. These dual limited series (and their tie-ins) depict the final battle for the mutant nation of Krakoa. Marvel has already teased a post-Krakoa relaunch for its X-Men line coming this July.
X-Men Unlimited #121 is available now on Marvel Unlimited. New chapters release on the platform every Monday.
