Skybound Entertainment and Image Comics have announced a trade paperback collection for their comic books based on Audible‘s hit audio drama Impact Winter.
Per Skybound, the Impact Winter TPB hits bookstores on Tuesday, October 15 (and comic shops on Wednesday, October 16). The graphic novel collects the Image‘s three Impact Winter prequel one-shots — Impact Winter #1, Impact Winter: Rook #1, and the upcoming Impact Winter: Evenfall #1. These post-apocalyptic comics team writer (and Impact Winter creator) Travis Beacham with artists Stephen Green, Andrea Milana, and Sumeyye Kesgin.

What is Impact Winter about?
“Darcy, a young and headstrong fighter looking to prove herself. Rook, a wandering centurion needing a second chance. Penelope, a newly awoken vampire seeking revenge. Their stories unfold in the dark corners of legend, where vampires are real and waiting for the opportunity to step from the shadows,” an official synopsis for the collection reads.
“Collected for the first time ever, these stories will entice new readers and longtime fans of the Audible Original to explore the world of Impact Winter … These epic tales of darkness and light feature many of the characters made beloved in the heart-stopping audio drama, as well as the first appearances of important characters that have not been introduced in the audio series,” it concludes.

Beacham’s Impact Winter first arrived on Audible in early 2022. The week it launched, it became the number-one fiction bestseller on the Amazon-owned platform. It was also the number-one Audible Plus listen across multiple categories for three weeks. A second season arrived in mid 2023, with a third on the way.
The Impact Winter trade paperback goes on sale in October 2024 from Image Comics.
