#6 What is Batman’s experience level in this film?
When talking about Man of Steel, writer David Goyer said this: “The idea is that Superman is the first one. There might be people helping people, but not in costumes, and that Superman comes forward and announces himself to the world. In him announcing himself, he’s the one that changes things.” So Batman sees Superman and decides it’s now okay for him to dedicate his nights to fighting crime? I don’t buy that totally, but I think they will choose to go the route of DC’s “The New 52” where Batman has been operating in secret for many years and was just the subject of rumor among criminals and people, no one really believed in him. After Superman helps save the world, people would be willing to accept the idea of a giant bat fighting crime….maybe.
