We’re just one week into 2015 and we’ve already been treated to a bunch of major news stories regarding some highly-anticipated big screen releases. This week gave us the first trailer to Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and, on the latest episode of Most Craved, we’re sharing our thoughts on what we’ve seen so far from the Marvel Cinematic Universe “Phase Two” capper.
Next, 20th Century Fox set an October 7, 2016 release date for the Channing Tatum-led X-Men spinoff Gambit. That year, the film will follow Deadpool on February 12 and X-Men: Apocalypse on May 27, making 20th Century Fox set to be the first studio to release three comic book movies in the same continuity in one year. Does Tatum have what it takes to play Remy LeBeau? Find out what Most Craved thinks in the player above!
Finally, word arrived on Monday that Scarlett Johansson will lead DreamWorks’ live-action adaptation of Masamune Shirow’s iconic Manga series Ghost in the Shell. Is Johansson the right actor for the part or should the role have gone to a Japanese lead? We debate both sides of the argument.
This week’s hosts include regulars Jenna Busch of Legion of Leia, William Bibbiani of CraveOnline and our own Silas Lesnick.
We’ve also launched the official Most Craved Twitter feed and we’d love it if you’d give us a follow! Then be sure to reach out to let us know your thoughts on any of today’s topics or to suggest a topic to be covered in a future episode! We’re always listening and want to know what kind of coverage matters to you.
