Video: Daisy Ridley and John Boyega on Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Daisy Ridley and John Boyega on Star Wars: The Last Jedi

It has been a wild ride for Daisy Ridley and John Boyega since Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The two have starred alongside some of the best actors in Hollywood. They have become recognized all over the world as Rey and Finn. And now, no longer the rookies, they return to a galaxy far, far away as veterans of Star Wars.

When meeting John Boyega in Los Angeles at the press junket for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, he was fresh off of seeing the film the night before. I asked him what it was like to see it for the first time and if there were any surprises for audiences to expect. I also asked him about voicing his character in the Star Wars Battlefront II video game and killing fans online.

Shortly before the junket, Boyega appeared on The Tonight Show and was put on the spot by Daisy Ridley who told them to ask him to dance. So to return the favor, I asked him if there was something I should ask Daisy to do that might surprise her. Check out what he had to say in the video. I also chat with Daisy about what her favorite part about being Rey is, what her relationship with Luke is like, and most importantly, what her opinion on porgs is.
