According to director David Goyer (Blade: Trinity) on the official Blade message boards, while he was in talks to adapt ‘Deadpool’ for Marvel Studios, he has decided to move on:
“Deadpool movie status? Don’t know. I was talking to Marvel about it, but ultimately, decided to move on to other projects.”
Shame – the Goyer directing Ryan Reynolds starring combo sounded perfect.
