One of the thankful breaks of last week’s Comic-Con was a press cocktail reception held by Paramount in honor of August’s G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra. Joining weary journalists were Snake Eyes himself, Ray Park and G.I. Joe godfather Larry Hama.
Hama, part and parcel responsible for the Joe we know today, served as creative consultant on the new film and, in the video below, talks about his history as the franchise’s “re-imaginer” and what the big-screen version is going to mean for the future.
