Earlier this year, a New Jersey high school made headlines with its stage production of the classic Alien. Several students worked their magic on the 1979 Ridley Scott classic, and it made waves. Now, if you want to see it in person, then you’re about to get one more chance.
The official Alien: Anthology Twitter account posted the news that North Bergen High School will host an encore Alien performance. It will take place on April 26, just in time for Alien Day. It looks like general admission tickets are already sold out, but a few lucky residents can get their hands on them shortly. You can see the official announcement and poster below.

Although the full play isn’t online, several clips from it have gone up on social media. They hinted at terrific stage production for a high school play, right down to the special effects and sets. You can see a couple of Tweets below with highlights.

For a local production, the Alien play got a whole lot of buzz on social media last month. Following its debut, it received some praise from notable figures behind the production as well. Ridley Scott wrote an entire letter praising the production team and students. “Thanks for doing Alien, I felt very complimented,” he said in the note, which playfully suggested that they take on his 2001 film, Gladiator.
The film’s star, Sigourney Weaver, also had some kind words for the show, which you can see below.
