Second Hot Toys Birds of Prey Harley Quinn Has Her Caution Tape Jacket

Birds of Prey‘s results at the box office have been cautiously optimistic at best. But Hot Toys clearly thinks positively about Harley Quinn — so much so that they already announced a second movie version. They’re not wrong. Once again in a DC super-team movie, Margot Robbie‘s Harley came off as the strongest link. And in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad, all signs point to her doing it again. Especially since he looks to be putting her back in red and black. Meanwhile, the caution tape jacket makes its toy debut on Hot Toys’ newest Harley creation.

From the official description: “Hot Toys’ brand new 1/6th scale Harley Quinn (Caution Tape Jacket Version) collectible figure does not only includes Harley Quinn’s newest attire, the Wings Caution Tape Jacket with colorful fringes patterns, but also another delicate set of iconic costume as seen when she storms the police station, allowing fans to show off with Harley’s unique wardrobe. Crafted with meticulous craftsmanship, the collectible figure features a newly developed head sculpt highlighting [an] amazing likeness of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn in Birds of Prey, a Caution Tape Jacket with classic motorcycle collar detail translated Harley’s original creation, a set of finely tailored interchangeable outfit with matching boots, amazingly-detailed accessories including a shotgun with insertable bullets, a metallic baseball bat, layered chain necklaces, a sandwich, and a figure stand with specially designed graphic cards and character backdrop.”

They sell the sandwich a bit short. That is no ordinary sandwich, but the perfect breakfast egg and cheese sandwich that Harley loses early in the movie. It’s hard to get that proper bodega breakfast when everyone tries to kill her, but by movie’s end — minor spoiler! — she finally gets to enjoy one. Only fitting that this post-movie announcement should include it as well. We wouldn’t bet on other characters from the movie yet, but a Mary Elizabeth Winstead Huntress, er, “Crossbow Killer,” would probably sell.
