Shang-Chi and Wenwu Make Their Hot Toys Figural Debuts

An actor knows they’ve made it in the Marvel Universe when they get a Hot Toys figure. And Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is coming right out of the gate with two. Shang-Chi, the young master of the martial arts, and Wenwu, his supervillain father also known as the Mandarin, can soon engage in all the martial arts poses Hot Toys allows. And with this Shang-Chi and Wenwu, expect near-perfect likenesses of rising star Simu Liu, and international acting icon Tony Leung.

Many secrets still surround Shang-Chi, and that goes for his figure as well. Included alongside the super-articulated, fabric costume-wearing hero are several items yet-to-be revealed. Presumably, they are scene-specific to moments Marvel does not want spoiled. But if history is any guide, they will look as screen-accurate as replicas come.

Wenwu includes interchangeable powered-up forearms, as well as several attachable power effects. Each piece of his head sculpt is specially hand-painted. Both Shang-Chi and Wenwu go for $250, with delivery anticipated first-quarter of 2023. (Presumably thanks to a realistic assessment of COVID-related shipping delays.)

Take a look through the gallery below to see multiple angles and closeups of Shang-Chi and Wenwu. Will they master your collection, a year and a half from now? Let us know in comments.
