Jurassic Park Tyrannosaurus vs. Outhouse Comic-Con Exclusive Toy Set

For a movie that’s all about the fear of possibly getting eaten by dinosaurs, Jurassic Park features relatively little actual onscreen chomping. And when somebody gets it, they usually deserve it, in plot terms. Stealing embryos? Death. Smoking? Death. Being a lawyer who hides in an outhouse? Vivid, on-camera death by tyrannosaurus.

Now that most cinematic of dino death scenes will see immortalization in a Comic-Con exclusive action figure set. Get the tyrannosaurus in exclusive new rain deco, along with an outhouse and the first-ever figure of Donald Gennaro. Character actor Martin Ferrero, previously best known as Izzy in the original Miami Vice TV show, finally gets the plastic honors. The 3-3/4 inch scaled set also includes lights and sounds. It will be available for purchase at Comic-Con, and online at Mattel Creations starting 9 a.m. on Friday, July 22.

Officially, Mattel dubs the set “Outhouse Chaos,” which could describe many a post spicy foods event. Gennaro didn’t exactly use the location for its intended purpose, but now anyone buying the set will have a scale bathroom to use with all similarly sized figures. No cost yet announced, but expect somewhere in the $50-$75 range if it’s priced within reason.
