20th Century Fox Announces Dark Phoenix’s Home Media Release
Just over a month after its theatrical debut, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has announced details about Dark Phoenix’s home media release. Via ComicBook.com, the last of the studio’s X-Men films will hit digital on September 3 and arrive on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on September 17.
Naturally, the movie boasts a handful of special features for die-hard collectors to sink their teeth into. Viewers can re-watch the film with audio commentary from writer and director Simon Kinberg and producer Hutch Parker. Kinberg and Parker also recorded commentary for a handful of deleted scenes. It’s well-known by now that Dark Phoenix went through a rather tumultuous post-production phase. With this, it will be interesting to see which moments ended up on the cutting room floor.
