Joker Is Heading Back To IMAX Theaters

Warner Bros.’ Joker film is ready to make one last stand in theaters before its bow on home video. The unexpected hit will return to IMAX theaters starting on Friday, December 6, where it will have a limited one week run. Director Todd Phillips, recently shared the news in a post on Instagram.

Phillips’ post features Joaquin Phoenix’s character walking down the street in his make-up and fancy suit. It also features the text announcing the IMAX screening, along with a pair of critical accolades.

Earlier this week, Warner Bros. announced that the film will release on Digital HD on December 17, before getting a 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray and Blu-Ray release on January 7. To date, Joker has earned nearly $1.05 billion worldwide.

Tickets for the IMAX showings should be available tomorrow once the film arrives in theaters.
