With friends like these, who needs the Joker? Huntress and the gang aren’t so sure, but Harley Quinn is definitely ready for her close-up. Warner Bros. has just dropped a new TV spot for next month’s Birds of Prey. Clocking in at 30 seconds, the spot unleashes some previously unseen footage from the film. Birds of Prey is director Cathy Yan’s first action movie. Fortunately, it looks like she and her crew have crafted some impressive (and highly explosive) fight scenes to mesmerize moviegoers. And thanks to the film’s R-rating, they aren’t holding back. This latest spot offers new glimpses at an intense prison skirmish, complete with sprinklers going off and a few slow-mo effects that would make Zack Snyder blush. There are also a few new shots of a firefight in a warehouse, all while Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ “Heads Will Roll” plays in the background.

Additionally, the teaser gives Ewan McGregor’s Roman Sionis, a.k.a. Black Mask, some time in the spotlight. It’s been a while since we saw the DCEU’s version of Gotham City. However, Sionis has clearly amassed enough power and influence to put himself on Harley’s radar. As Harley remarks, “nothing gets a guy’s attention like violence.” And given the way she and her fellow anti-heroines make short work of his henchman, it’s safe to say she’s earned a spot at the top of his hit list as well.
Birds of Prey opens in theaters on February 7.
