Jaimie Alexander Hints at a MCU Return

One of Thor‘s long-missing friends could be making a return. Just months after yearning for a MCU return, Jaimie Alexander has dropped a hint that she could reprise her role as Lady Sif. In a video that recently popped up on Reddit, an interviewer asked Alexander about being able to ride a horse while wielding a sword. This was an obvious reference to her work on the Thor films.

“Yes, once upon a time, I was able to do that,” explained Alexander. “And I might have to do that again in the future. So, hopefully, I haven’t lost that gift.”

Alexander also noted that she “would probably cease to exist if I actually told what I have coming up, so I can’t tell you guys. But thanks for asking anyway.”

It’s worth noting that there have been rumors about a potential Lady Sif Disney+ series, according to DiscussingFilm. Additionally, Alexander could join Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, and Natalie Portman in Thor: Love and Thunder.

Following her appearances in Thor and Thor: The Dark World, Alexander portrayed Sif in a pair of episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC. However, Alexander was unable to appear in Thor: Ragnarok or either of the following Avengers films. That’s because she headlines Blindspot on NBC. Now that Blindspot is heading into its final season, Alexander’s schedule could free up again.
