Slade Wilson Fights for Redemption In Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons Trailer

Earlier this year, CW Seed debuted the Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons animated series starring  Michael Chiklis as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke. Now, Warner Bros. Home Video is debuting the first trailer for Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons: The Movie. The new edit will bring all of the episodes together in an 87-minute animated feature, and it’s going to give Slade the fight of his life.

The trailer also touches on Slade’s origins, and how he received the strength and healing powers  that made him Deathstroke. However, the key defining incident in Slade’s past, as told in the movie, is the attempt to recruit Slade into H.I.V.E.. Unfortunately for H.I.V.E., threatening to kill Slade’s son, Joeseph, is only going to piss him off. They’ve also given the world’s greatest assassin an excuse to work for free.

Regardless of Slade’s contentious past with his ex-wife, Adeline “Addie” Kane Wilson (Sasha Alexander), she may be his only ally in this fight. Together, they will have to face Lady Shiva (Panta Mosleh) and the H.I.V.E. Queen, Jade (Faye Mata). Colin Salmon also stars in the film as William Wintergreen, with Delbert Hunt as Bronze Tiger, Chris Jai Alex  as The Jackal, and Noshir Dalal as Kapoor.

Comic veteran J.M. DeMatteis wrote the script for Knights & Dragons, and the film was directed by Sung Jin Ahn. The Blu-ray will also feature 50 minutes of supplemental content. A release date has not yet been announced.
