Ray Fisher’s claims of abusive treatment on the set of Justice League have made a lot of headlines over the last few months. But with the exception of Jason Momoa, his co-stars have largely stayed silent on the issue. Despite this, WarnerMedia launched its own inquiry into what happened during the movie’s reshoots in 2017. Now, Wonder Woman 1984’s Gal Gadot has told Variety that she gave her own testimony for the investigation.
“I know that they’ve done a very thorough investigation, even just by how much time I spent with them,” said Gadot.
Fisher’s allegations primarily targeted Joss Whedon, who took over as Justice League’s director after Zack Snyder left the film to deal with a personal tragedy. In a tweet posted in July, Fisher said that Whedon was “gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.” He also accused then-DC Entertainment President Geoff Johns and producer Jon Berg of enabling Whedon’s conduct. WarnerMedia media announced last week that their investigation was finished and “remedial action” was underway. But just like the rest of us, Gadot still isn’t sure what this entails.

“I don’t know what that means either,” added Gadot. “I’m curious to know what’s going to be the outcome.”
Gadot didn’t offer any particulars about what she discussed with WarnerMedia’s investigators. But in another interview with the L.A. Times published today, she revealed that she had her own unpleasant encounter with Whedon. However, it sounds like she dealt with it separately.
“I’m happy for Ray to go out and speak his truth,” said Gadot. “I wasn’t there with the guys when they shot with Joss Whedon — I had my own experience with [him], which wasn’t the best one, but I took care of it there and when it happened. I took it to the higher-ups and they took care of it. But I’m happy for Ray to go up and say his truth.”
