Zack Snyder is about to make his return with a new zombie movie. After much anticipation, Netflix has finally dropped an official teaser for Snyder’s Army of the Dead. In a little more than a minute, the video introduces the fans to the wasteland Las Vegas has become following a zombie outbreak. The few clips featuring the zombie horde are pretty impressive, especially when they attack casinos’ unsuspecting customers. The teaser also briefly shows Dave Bautista’s Scott Ward and the rest of his team as they try to keep the horde at bay with some fierce firepower, including an evergreen spiked mace.

The story was conceived by Snyder and written by Joby Harold and Shay Hatten. It takes place during a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas and follows a man who assembles a group of mercenaries to take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantined zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.
The cast of Army of the Dead stars Dave Bautista, who recently revealed that he agreed to work on this one after discovering the different layers to the story. Additionally, the cast features Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Theo Rossi, Garret Dillahunt, Raül Castillo, as well as Tig Notaro, and Ana de la Reguera.
Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead will debut on Netflix on May 21.
