With only a few hours left before the debut of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, the producers have released a new trailer. The short video features plenty of fresh footage from the upcoming Snyder-version of 2017’s Justice League. As fans already knew, the movie will offer a different take on DC’s superpowered ensemble, who will have to overcome their differences to save the Earth from Steppenwolf and his master, Darkseid. The tyrannical ruler of the planet Apokolips feels the time is right to conquer our world once again. His first attempt was to no avail, as a league of heroes joined forces to stop him. While the modern heroes are more scattered and divided than ever, it looks like we are on the verge of a new golden era of heroes.

The trailer also shows a few frames with the Man of Steel wearing his dark suit. Additionally, there is new footage from the Knightmare sequence, featuring the return of Jared Leto’s Joker. Like the previous trailers, the recently released video sets a much darker tone than Whedon’s light-hearted take on DC’s group of heroes. The upcoming movie has been rated R for violence and some language.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League will debut on March 18.
