Game of Thrones’ Pilou Asbaek In Talks To Join Aquaman 2

Aquaman 2 is starting to gear up for production later this year. Now, Deadline is reporting that Pilou Asbaek is in talks to join the cast of the Aquaman sequel. However, details about his potential role were undisclosed.

Asbaek is best known for playing Euron Greyjoy in HBO’s Game of Thrones. His other credits also include Overlord, Run Sweetheart Run, and Over the Wire. Asbaek’s next role will be alongside Sylvester Stallone in Samaritan.

Jason Momoa will reprise his role as Arthur Curry/Aquaman for the sequel. Additionally, Amber Heard has previously confirmed her return as Mera.

Aquaman‘s post-credit scene implied that Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s David Kane/Black Manta will also be back. Regardless, it’s unclear if Black Manta will be the primary villain in the sequel. Presumably, Willem Dafoe will also return as Nuidis Vulko. Other cast members likely to return are Patrick Wilson, Temuera Morrison, and

Nicole Kidman. But for now, they remain unconfirmed.

James Wan will direct Aquaman 2 from a script by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick.

Aquaman 2 will hit theaters on December 16, 2022. Filming will begin later this year.
