Following the finale of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, fans reasonably expected word about a second season. However, it looks like Cap’s future will once again unfold on the big screen.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier showrunner Malcolm Spellman is developing Captain America 4 for Marvel Studios. Additionally, THR notes that Spellman will co-write the script with Dalan Musson, a staff writer from the series. Musson is credited with writing the fifth episode of the show.
No casting details have been revealed, but presumably Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan will be back. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige recently shot down a rumor about Chris Evans’ potential return.
