Because the pandemic isn’t over yet, San Diego Comic-Con and other major conventions will remain virtual events this year. However, DC is still planning to stand out from the crowd. After successfully launching DC FanDome in 2020, DC Comics has announced that the online event will return on October 16.
Further details about the new DC FanDome are currently unrevealed. Regardless, the first DC FanDome was a rousing success that debuted the first look at The Batman, Black Adam and The Suicide Squad. Both Black Adam and The Batman will likely be featured again. Other projects that may be previewed include HBO Max’s Peacemaker, Green Lantern, and The Batman‘s Gotham PD prequel series.
