After a series of delays, Marvel is finally unleashing Black Widow next month. And to drum up some extra hype before the movie’s release, the studio has debuted a new special look at Natasha Romanoff’s long-awaited standalone adventure..
Introduced by Scarlett Johansson, the teaser includes fresh looks at some of the film’s action set pieces. Many of the scenes feature MCU newcomers like David Harbour’s Red Guardian and Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova. Plus, we also see new shots of William Hurt returning as Secretary Ross and the mysterious Taskmaster, who serves as Black Widow’s main villain. In the film, the Taskmaster carries out dangerous missions for the Red Room training facility. However, Marvel isn’t divulging his (or her?) identity until the movie opens in theaters.

Additionally, Rachel Weisz discussed her role as Melina Vostokoff in the film and premiered a new clip during a virtual appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday. The night before, Harbour appeared on the program with a clip of his own. And it looks like Weisz’s clip picks up right where Harbour’s left off, with Natasha and her Russian “family” reuniting after several years apart.
Black Widow will hit theaters and Disney+ Premier Access on July 9. You can watch both new videos below (Weisz’s clip starts at the 7:43 mark).
