Who Framed Roger Rabbit Gets a 4K SteelBook Case From Best Buy

Get ready to go back to Toontown. More than 30 years after its original release, Who Framed Roger Rabbit is arriving on 4K later this year. And die-hard collectors will soon be able to own the film in an enticing new package. In addition to a standard edition of the new Blu-ray, Best Buy will be releasing its own version of the film in an exclusive SteelBook case.

The cover artwork for the SteelBook shows Roger Rabbit together with his wife, Jessica, while the back has Jessica walking alongside Eddie Valiant, as played by the late Bob Hoskins. Meanwhile, the interior art displays the scene in the film where Jessica performs with her band at The Ink and Paint Club. Check it out for yourself below and pre-order the SteelBook here.

Best Buy’s SteelBook edition of Roger Rabbit retails for $28.99, while the standard edition (available here) costs $22.99. Both versions also include two discs packed with an array of special features. Viewers can listen to audio commentary featuring director Robert Zemeckis, Frank Marshall, Steve Starkey, Jeff Price, Peter Seaman, and Ken Ralston.

Fans can also re-watch three previously-released Roger Rabbit shorts and deleted scenes from the film. Other featurettes detail the melding of live-action and animation along with the making of key scenes from the movie, including the fan-favorite cab chase.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit will be available to own of 4K UHD on December 7.
