After several COVID-related delays, Ghostbusters: Afterlife has finally arrived, and we want to know what the Superhero Hype community thinks about it! This post is a place for all of you to leave your own reviews, thoughts, or anything else you want to say about the new Ghostbusters sequel.
Did you love the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot? If you did, then you’re in the minority. Although the reboot had an opening weekend that was $2 million higher than the current sequel’s $44 million opening, the new movie also cost much less to make. Therefore, it has a better chance to spawn more sequels and potentially out-gross the 2016 film’s box office.

Carrie Coon stars as Callie, the daughter of an original Ghostbuster. However, the real legacy of the film belongs to Carrie’s children, Phoebe (Mckenna Grace) and Trevor (Finn Wolfhard). Podcast (Logan Kim) and Lucky Domingo (Celeste O’Connor) round out the new team, with an assist from Gary Grooberson (Paul Rudd). Additionally, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts, and Sigourney Weaver reprise their roles from the first two films.
