Warner Bros. Officially Releases The Batman’s Funeral Scene

A few days ago, a funeral scene from The Batman leaked online. However, Warner Bros. didn’t officially release the clip until today. Within the scene, one of Gotham City’s most prominent citizens is dead. If we had to guess, the Riddler (Paul Dano) probably killed them as part of his larger plan. And the Riddler isn’t done sending a message.

We also see Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne making a public appearance for the funeral. Additionally, GCPD’s Jim Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) reveals that Gotham’s crooked D.A., Gil Colson (Peter Sarsgaard), has disappeared. And the Riddler is probably behind that as well.

Matt Reeves directed the film and co-wrote the script with Peter Craig. The Batman will hit theaters on Friday, March 4.
