Although Black Adam is one of the few 2022 DC movies that wasn’t pushed to next year, it is still undergoing reshoots. Regardless, the star of the film, Dwayne Johnson, has revealed that the trailer is just around the corner. In a new Instagram post, Johnson announced that the Black Adam trailer will premiere on June 8.
Additionally, Johnson shared an image of Black Adam’s throne and an explanation why he couldn’t sit in it until filming reached a certain part of the story.

In a follow-up post, Johnson praised director Jaume Collet-Serra and said “he always finds the heart & soul in our stories.” Johnson also added that “we agreed to make Black Adam together to create a new paradigm for the antihero. Jaume said ‘Let’s make Black Adam, the Dirty Harry of all superheroes and some supervillains.’ A ruthless, unstoppable God who lives by a code to protect his family and his people.”

Sarah Shahi co-stars in the film as Adrianna Tomaz, with Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, and Pierce Brosnan as Kent Nelson/Doctor Fate.
Black Adam will fly into theaters on October 21.
