Justice League 2 & 3 Are Zack Snyder’s Dream Story

During SnyderCon 2023, Zack Snyder told fans that his “blank check” dream story would be Justice League 2 and Justice League 3.

As part of a Man of Steel Q&A following a screening of the Superman movie, the director was asked by an audience member what his dream story to tell would be if he was given a blank check for a project. Though Snyder had to think about it for a moment, he quickly confirmed another audience member’s suggestion.

Does Zack Snyder want to make Justice League 2 and 3?

“I don’t know, that’s a good one,” Snyder commented. Before he could say more, an audience member shouted, “Justice League 2 and 3.” After hearing that, Snyder said, “That’s funny. I guess that’s right. I mean, honestly, probably … I mean, blank check. The scenario’s pretty ludicrous, but I like it.”

Zack Snyder’s Justice League released in 2021 and served as a director’s cut of the 2017 Justice League movie since Joss Whedon replaced Snyder as director during the original’s post-production. The film had set up multiple potential future storylines, including the introduction of Justice League member Martian Manhunter and a tease at the continuation of the Knightmare story that appeared throughout the DC Extended Universe.
