Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 director James Gunn has revealed which of Rocket’s Counter-Earth friends is his personal favorite.
Which of Rocket’s friends is James Gunn’s favorite?
In a series of posts on his Twitter account, Gunn spoke about the scenes involving a younger Rocket and his friends Lylla the otter, Floor the rabbit, and Teefs the Walrus. When asked who his favorite was — not including Rocket — Gunn revealed that Floor takes the title.
Responding to another user who asked how Floor eats with the metal mask over half of her face, Gunn stated that the mask opens for her to eat. He also said that the mask is attached to her face and has a speaker in it, which is how she speaks.
Finally, James Gunn was asked if there are any deleted scenes involving Rocket and his friends. The director answered, “No,” meaning every scene involving the quartet was in the final cut of the movie.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was directed by James Gunn and was released in theaters on May 5. The sequel heavily features the backstory of Rocket — the armed and snarky raccoon voiced by Bradley Cooper — and his history with the film’s villain, The High Evolutionary (played by Chukwudi Iwuji). Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is now playing in theaters.
