Director James Gunn has revealed that there’s still a Guardians of the Galaxy Easter egg that fans haven’t found in the first movie.
Is there a Guardians of the Galaxy Easter egg that still hasn’t been found?
Over Twitter, Gunn was asked if anyone had found the Guardians of the Galaxy Easter egg that the director has teased for years. Apparently, the first movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe‘s subseries features one final Easter egg that fans have yet to uncover. When Gunn was asked if anyone has found it at this point in time — nearly ten years after the movie’s release — the filmmaker confirmed that it still hasn’t been discovered.
Guardians of the Galaxy originally released in 2014 and followed Chris Pratt‘s Star-Lord, Zoe Saldaña’s Gamora, Dave Bautista’s Drax, Bradley Cooper’s Rocket, and Vin Diesel’s Groot as they try to work together to stop Lee Pace’s villainous Ronan the Accuser from gaining an Infinity Stone and destroying Xandar.
The newest entry in the series, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, was directed by James Gunn and was released in theaters on May 5. The sequel heavily features the backstory of Rocket — the armed and snarky raccoon voiced by Bradley Cooper — and his history with the film’s villain, The High Evolutionary (played by Chukwudi Iwuji). Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is now playing in theaters.
