Avengers: Kang Dynasty Writer Jeff Loveness Rumored to Be Off Movie

Insider Jeff Sneider has revealed that writer Jeff Loveness may no longer be attached to the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.

Is Jeff Loveness still writing Avengers: The Kang Dynasty?

According to Sneider on The Hot Mic Podcast, Loveness — who wrote Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania — is “off of” the Phase 6 movie after joining it last September. Not only that, but this move apparently came before the WGA strike that started on May 2.

“This is unconfirmed,” Sneider clarified. “My source is saying that Jeff Loveness is off of [Avengers:] The Kang Dynasty, and that he fell off before the strike.”

When asked if this means Marvel Studios is starting the project all over again with a new writer, Sneider confirmed that this would be the case.

“Yes, that is exactly what it means,” the insider stated. “Jeff Loveness, deserved or not, got a lot of criticism for his scripts and, yes, it sounds like they are going in another direction … from what my source says.”
