Elizabeth Olsen: New MCU Stars Should Only Sign on for 1 Project

WandaVision star Elizabeth Olsen has offered some wisdom to actors who want in on or are new to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

What did Elizabeth Olsen say about joining the MCU?

While speaking on Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast, the actress shared some advice for young actors who are considering entering the MCU.

“Just give them one,” Olsen said (via Variety). “That way you have more control over … If you, let’s say, ‘Oh my God, this is the most fun I’ve ever had and I love this character so much, I want to do it again,’ you now have more creative control for the next one.”

Elizabeth Olsen first appeared in the MCU as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch in the post-credits scene of 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Since then, Olsen has starred as the character in numerous Avengers movies, Captain America: Civil War, and in her own Disney+ series WandaVision.

Most recently, the character appeared as the antagonist in 2022’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, where she pursued the titular protagonist and new hero America Chavez through the multiverse in an attempt to find other versions of the children she conjured and lost in WandaVision.
