Venom 3 Juno Temple update

Venom 3 Star on Upcoming Tom Hardy Sequel: ‘It’s Fun and Interesting’

Juno Temple says that working on Sony’s upcoming Venom 3 is both a “fun and interesting” experience.

Speaking with Variety, Temple was asked what it’s like filming Venom 3 with Tom Hardy, who plays Eddie Brock/Venom in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe.

“I’m learning lots,” she answered. “It’s fun and interesting, because there are so many things that you film that when the movie finally comes out will look different to what they were when we were filming them. I’m excited to see the creations that happen off camera, too.”

Sony has not yet announced who Temple is playing in Venom 3, which is being directed by Kelly Marcel. Along with Temple and Hardy, the movie will also star Doctor Strange’s Chiwetel Ejiofor, though Sony has also not yet revealed who he is playing in the movie either.

What else do we know about Venom 3?

Plot details for Venom 3 remain under wraps at this time. The movie was written by Marcel from a story that she wrote with Hardy. Hardy and Marcel also produce the movie alongside Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, and Hutch Parker.

Venom 3 will be the sixth installment in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe. The franchise kicked off in 2018 with the first Venom, which was directed by Ruben Fleischer, followed by the Andy Serkis-directed sequel, Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

Following the release of 2022’s Morbius, Sony’s Spider-Man Universe is now expanding with S. J. Clarkson’s Madame Web, which stars Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney. With Madame Web releasing on February 14, 2024, Aaron Taylor-Johnson then leads J. C. Chandor’s Kraven the Hunter, which hits theaters on November 8, 2024.

Along with the upcoming Venom 3, Temple can be seen in AppleTV+’s Ted Lasso and FX’s Fargo Season 5. She also played a minor role in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises and stars as Thistlewit in Disney’s Maleficient franchise, among other roles.

Venom 3 releases in the United States on November 8, 2024.
