Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver will be rated PG-13.
According to the MPA’s film ratings website, via ComicBook.com, Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver has been rated PG-13 for “sequences of strong violence, brief strong language, and suicide.”
Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire, which was released on Netflix in December 2023, was also rated PG-13 for “sequences of strong violence, sexual assault, bloody images, language, sexual material, and partial nudity.” An extended, R-rated cut of Rebel Moon is expected to debut on the streaming platform later in 2024, though an exact release date has not yet been set.
What is Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver about?
“Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver continues the epic saga of Kora and the surviving warriors as they prepare to sacrifice everything, fighting alongside the brave people of Veldt, to defend a once peaceful village, a newfound homeland for those who have lost their own in the fight against the Motherworld,” the official synopsis reads. “On the eve of their battle the warriors must face the truths of their own pasts, each revealing why they fight. As the full force of the Realm bears down on the burgeoning rebellion, unbreakable bonds are forged, heroes emerge, and legends are made.”
Sofia Boutella reprises her role as Kora from the first film, along with Ed Skrein as Atticus Noble, Michiel Huisman as Gunnar, Djimon Hounsou as Titus, Staz Nair as Tarak, Bae Doona as Nemesis and Anthony Hopkins as the voice of Jimmy. The cast also includes Fra Fee, Cleopatra Coleman, Stuart Martin, Ingvar Sigurðsson, Alfonso Herrera, Cary Elwes, Rhian Rees, E. Duffy, Sky Yang, and Charlotte Maggi.
